It’s been a difficult two years for events of any kind. Many have had to learn fast about online spaces, become experts in video software, retain old audiences and attract new audiences, and figure out if they could weather the pandemic storm. And while it’s far from over, it’s great to see so many events embrace online audiences, while still finding ways to (hopefully) go back to live events as well. For us, it’s meant finding a while new audience too, one which we’re exciting to keep aboard the Miskatonic train.
To that end, the Miskatonic Institute is thrilled to be nominated in the ‘Best Events of 2021’ category of the Rondo Hatton Classic Awards. It truly is an honour to be nominated, considering the company we’re with, both online and live events. This is due to the amazing work of our branch directors, Josh Saco in London, Cristina Cacioppo & Joe Yanick in New York, and Amy Voorhees Searles & Graham Skipper in Los Angeles, our knowledgeable and engaging instructors, and our PR specialist Aimee Kuge.
The Rondo Hatton awards are amazing for not only recognizing smaller events and people, but for the range of awards. Horror is a huge part of culture, both mass and niche, and these awards take the time and care to honour all these corners.
And YOU can be a part of these awards! You can vote just for our category, a few, or all of them! Full instructions are on their website.
